We are looking to hire an Analyst to join our Restaurants Equity Research team in New York. The research associate’s primary responsibilities include industry analysis and company-specific coverage. This involves core research ranging from dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings to assessing relevant news events, modelling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed valuation work, writing research notes and sector pieces, and speaking to internal/external clients and management teams about the stocks/sector.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in research, investment banking or another analytical and demanding role. A CFA, or progress toward a CFA, is a plus.

MRQR Time Series Management Team is a group within the Corporate Risk function. It is responsible for Market Risk data control and high level risk analysis. Examples of the group’s work include analysis and review of daily Market data & statistical properties relating to time series. MRQR Time Series Management Team has regular dialogue with Market Risk Management, Market risk quantitative research product specialist and Technology teams across all areas of the bank.
The team is involved in a variety of business projects such as system migration.
Analyzing Market Data used for Market Risk calculations such as VaR across several asset classes.

CIB Risk – FIG Credit Risk – Credit Risk Stress & Margin – Associate – EMEA
Credit Risk Stress & Margin is responsible for risk management of the Futures & Options and Over-The-Counter (F&O and OTC) Global Clearing business as well as the Hedge Fund activities traded across the Bank. The team analyzes the risk associated with counterparty portfolios focused on F&O, Cleared & Intermediated Derivatives, and analyses Hedge Fund Strategies for credit risk management purposes with active discussions with the Lines of Businesses. In addition to stress testing, VaR, scenario analysis and assessment of asset-based risk factors, the team also focuses on non-linearity, large concentrations, tail risk and liquidity of counterparty portfolios. Portfolios are analyzed and evaluated through simulation and analyses are performed to estimate market related risks and help risk managers identify and mitigate them. The team is part of the FIG Credit Risk under Credit Risk Management within the CIB.
The role is based in London. The Global Clearing business provides clearing, intermediation, and execution services for Hedge Funds and other Investor Services clients globally across asset classes. The Hedge Fund Quant part of the role looks at hedge funds strategies (often bespoke transactions) traded bilaterally. The candidate will understand the market risks associated with diverse set of products traded by our clients including Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities and Equities with a special focus on derivatives and exotic transactions.
Perform research and quantitative analyses on multi asset class portfolios including derivatives such as futures, swaps and options; analyze trading strategies, developing statistical models and perform portfolio simulations

Must Possess The Following
Bachelor or Master degree in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering or Finance/Economics.
6+ years’ of experience working at a financial institution in a market, credit risk role, or trading capacity or in a role with a focus on derivatives clearing and F&O exchange traded products.
Ability to understand derivative financial products (futures, forwards, options and swaps) and various market parameters and conditions affecting these products.
Strong project management, risk management and quantitative skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to cater to different audiences.

The role of Product Development is to partner with the broader team to set the strategic direction of the Traditional Fund Services (TFS) business, develop new products for the business and work with prospects and clients on new services. Lead multiple focused teams to build out a hub of excellence within the Traditional Fund Services Product Development organisation, to analyse and implement our roadmap across various functional domains such as securities setup, trade capture, pricing of assets, corporate actions and reconciliations, in order to address strategic product gaps and issues that affect our most important clients globally.

The successful candidate will have experience of Fund Accounting with additional depth of understanding of the marketplace, either through working in a similar product development role, or in an operations or client facing role on the servicing side.
The Successful Candidate Will Ideally Have The Following Skills
Significant relevant industry experience, preferably in the Fund Services business
In-depth practical understanding of Fund Accounting in onshore and offshore locations – knowledge of various asset classes, trade lifecycle, straight-through processing concepts, fund accounting, security reference data, pricing and reconciliation controls, corporate actions and client nuances.
Understanding of various technology components such as APIs, XML, and SWIFT, would be advantageous.

The OTC Derivatives Valuation Control Group (VCG) is organized into a team of OTC derivatives valuation and quantitative analysts based in Bournemouth, Dallas, and Mumbai. The VCG team provides OTC derivatives valuations to institutional clients, asset managers, hedge funds, and insurance companies who have outsourced part or all of their operations to J.P. Morgan. The VCG team is the first line of support for complex valuations and managing valuation queries for both internal and external clients. The team functions within the business as Subject Matter Experts for OTC derivatives valuation.
The team is looking for a Senior Analyst to assist with OTC derivatives valuation, counterparty MTM reconciliations, as well as projects related to new product testing / analysis and client on-boarding. Summary Of Responsibilities
