Aon is looking for a Delegated Sales Director - Endowment & Foundations

The Delegated Sales Director - Endowment & Foundations is an integral member of Aon’s Delegated (OCIO) leadership team, leveraging the resources of our top tier investment consultancy to grow and manage the suite of investment solutions, and position Aon Investment Consulting as a global leader for Delegated Investment Solutions for endowments, foundations, and healthcare asset pools. The Delegated Sales- Endowment & Foundations team is responsible for developing, managing, and growing our discretionary investment capability and client base. The Delegated Sales Director - Endowment & Foundations is charged with developing and leading investment solutions for our E&F clients and work directly with the portfolio management, product management, and program management teams to deliver industry leading solutions for our clients. This position reports to the Head of US Delegated Sales. This DIrector must build solid internal working relationships within the investment consulting segment and across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide E&F thought leadership to the practice and to clients
  • Lead large client relationships
  • Coordinate the E&F investment process including expertise from across the firm as needed to deploy firm best ideas
  • Develop visibility in the E&F space through networking, conference speaking opportunities, and thought leadership
  • Support product management teams to convert complex E&F concepts into marketing materials
  • Act in a senior leadership role in business development process
  • Collaborate with portfolio management teams to deploy investment strategies flexible to the varying needs of E&F clients
  • Challenge traditional thinking and deploy investment innovation to clients
  • Work within a team environment leveraging the skills of colleagues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business
  • Endowment and/or foundation investment experience with large ($1bn+), sophisticated clients
  • 10+ years investment management/investment consulting experience
  • Relationship management responsibilities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Flexible
  • Willing to take a hands on approach

Preferred

  • MBA preferred
  • CFA preferred
